An invitation to an international conference as well as congratulations to our colleague Dr. Roisin Cahalan, School of Allied Health and PAfH Core Member who co-chairs the conference together with Dr Orfhlaith Ni Bhriain, from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
Roisin and Orfhlaith are bringing the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science 32nd Annual Conference to Ireland. During October 28-31, 2022, our university will host over 530 delegates from the whole world, for the first time in Ireland, and for the first time in a hybrid mode, too. And, even if you do not attend the scientific part of the conference, the organizers invite you to a concert featuring student and professional local talent on the Saturday evening (29th of October) open to everyone. The DAMHSA concert features Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre, Limerick Youth Dance Company, Scoil Ui Ruairc, students and staff of the Irish World Academy, and the Award winning ÉIRÚ Dance Company.
